Our Favorite Equal Opportunity Design Project: Paradise.love

Our Work with a Inclusive and Diversity Advocating Company

When we think about our dream projects here at Sereth Design we get most excited about working with companies who are purposeful in their mission to create change in the world.

One of our favorite projects to date was Paradise.love. They are a production company based in Chicago focused on helping brands create inclusive and diverse experiences for their audiences.

What we love about Paradise.love

Paradise is a fun, expressive, innovative, and boundary-pushing production company. They craft genuine human content, guided by a socially conscious hand and a fun-loving heart.

At Paradise, they infuse all their work with the sense of authenticity that comes from keeping playfulness, reactivity, and heart alive in the work process. They listen to their audience and their collaborators to find deeper meaning.

The Paradise.love brand stuck out to us here at Sereth as a heart-led, sensational company looking to make a difference by telling their story through thoughtful brand and website design.

We quickly became obsessed with their fun-loving and inviting persona. For us, watching them design a production agency that focused on equal opportunity and diversity in the media space was a no-brainer.

The Paradise.love brand

When we started working with the team at Paradise they wanted to take their vibe: fun, expressive, and innovative - and turn that into an engaging home for their potential clients to see their work, engage with their directors/editors, and get a clear picture of who they are and the type of work they do.

Paradise strives to craft genuinely human content, guided by a socially conscious hand and a fun-loving heart. It was an honor to work with them to bring that mindset to life in a visually compelling way.

Our designs served to capture and emulate

  • Fun

  • Expression

  • Innovation

  • Diversity

  • Playfulness

Creating an experience so immersive it was hard-to-stop-scrolling.

The design of the company’s website was created to have a retro 60s vibe, be super colorful, and feel bold. Our palette of highly saturated colors brought in the art deco-style vibe that we were going for and is a great example of how an old look is being brought back to life in design.

The patterns and shapes were created from mid-century inspired shapes that interacted with photos and videos to accentuate their spaces. We opted to create a highly interactive experience through hovers, interactive galleries, GIFs, image accent shapes, color blocking, and our bold quirky font.

This combination of colors, shapes, and visual elements quite literally brought the website to life!

They hoped to capture the emotional response we have to hopeful fun in color, font, shapes, and unique visual elements. With the use of saturated colors, funky lines, and bold fonts we did exactly that!

Paradise was a dream brand to work with because of the collaborative approach they bring to the design process. They wanted to create something memorable, stimulating, and delightful.
